NATE O. PARR received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Humboldt State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Nathaniel worked for several years at a law firm in Anchorage, Alaska, practicing multiemployer benefits, employment law, education law, and labor law. Since joining the firm, he has specialized in consultation for multiemployer plan fiduciaries. He advises clients on issues of fiduciary responsibility, defined benefit and defined contribution plan design and administration, compliance with tax and labor laws and regulations, benefit claims and appeals, and withdrawal liability. He has obtained numerous favorable letters of determination from the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of retirement plan clients, resolved plan qualification issues via the IRS Voluntary Compliance program, and advised plan sponsors on Pension Protection Act issues, including funding improvement and rehabilitation plans. He is currently admitted to practice in Washington and Alaska.
